Completing the first cycle of chemo today. I’m thankful for the outstanding care I receive at the Seacoast Cancer Center in Dover NH and Dana Farber in Boston. The SCC has been a part of our family since the start and each and every person from the moment I arrive until I leave makes a difficult situation easier. They are some of the most caring and compassionate people I know. Matt and I are truly grateful for the amazing care team I have. My doctor in my opinion is the best; she is compassionate and caring with every step of my MBC journey. She often reminds me “it’s a marathon not a sprint” living and treating MBC, she knows I like to sprint; she’s a calming force when I need it. I am truly grateful for the outstanding care I receive.
I am also grateful for the ability to go to Dana Farber in Boston. I am grateful to have have a doctor who is passionate about treating breast cancer and who is on the cutting edge of research.
